Lawn Party Under the Stars. Each May, FACT hosts the party of the season and raises much-needed funds for FACT programs. It’s a casual outdoor event hosted in Virginia Beach. The party features catering from Baker’s Crust and Coastal Grill, a top-shelf open bar, live music, dancing, live and silent auctions, and a raffle for cash prizes.
Here are a few grounding activities for kids with autism to try if they seem agitated:  Count to ten or recite the alphabet as slowly as you can Listen to calming music and pay attention to the different instruments List five different things that you can see around the room.
Georgia. Camp Dream: This is a recreational summer camp for children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities. The camp has a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio in a safe and barrier free environment. There are scholarships available for those with financial hardships.
This virtual camp is for high school students on the autism spectrum (ASD). The camp will expose students to high-level video game design and development and provide opportunities for networking with peers. While developing their video game, students will improve their teamwork skills such as communication and collaboration.
